Prospective research for Samsung.

In 2008, a research project was initiated to imagine future business opportunities for Samsung 15 years ahead. The primary focus was on the “Future Mega City,” anticipating societal and urban changes to come.

One groundbreaking concept developed was “The Restaurant of Wishes.” This futuristic restaurant utilises rapid prototyping technology to create food tailored to individual preferences, imagination, taste, and health requirements.

The findings of this extensive research were presented through an engaging movie and an informative talk during an exhibition in Seoul. This presentation underscored the potential of the concept to open new avenues for Samsung in the dynamic and evolving landscape of urban gastronomy.
